The Samsung LE46A786 Series 7 LCD TV provides a truly spectacular viewing experience. The LE46A786 feaures the latest LCD technology such as 100Hz Motion Plus, Full HD 1080p and Ultra Clear Panel.

Samsung's LCD 100Hz Motion Plus converts the amount of images from fifty to one hundred frames per second by inserting a frame between each two frames. The inserted frame maintains the detailed motion characteristic of the video, going through motion estimation and compensation processing. In comparison to a duplication and insertion of frames, more natural motion can be achieved without a deterioration of other characteristics such as clarity, brightness and colour.

An LCD TV’s screen has polarisation filters which assist in reducing reflections. However, these Polarisation filters can have an adverse effect on picture quality as they also block out light from the panel itself. Samsung’s Ultra Clear Panel uses new uniform nano particles which help reduce reflection without a negative impact on the Image quality of the picture.

The Smart LED technology featured in the LE46A786 achieves amazing contrast and richer, more vivid colours, whilst consuming less power than normal LCD TV’s.
