The Samsung LE46A856 Series 8 LCD TV, launched September 2008, incorporates Samsung's motion plus 100Hz technology, changing the amount of images intelligently from fifty to one hundred frames per second by inserting a frame between each two frames. The inserted frame maintains the detailed motion characteristic of the video, going through motion estimation and compensation processing. In comparison to a duplication and insertion of frames, more natural motion can be achieved without a deterioration of other characteristics such as clarity, brightness and colour.
The WISELINK PRO connection on the LE46A856 enables you to play music and videos, as well as display photos and text documents on your screen with a simple USB 2.0 interface. This interface allows for a broader range of media to be played and displayed on your television including MPEG 4 and DIVX media.
