The ideal wax hat to complement the Original Driza-Bone coats, it is a soft finished (unblocked) practical hat, made out of the traditional Driza-Bone oilskin; The heavyweight wax is a 12oz fabric made from 100% cotton and is impregnated with a wax compound.
This fabric is extremely warm, wind breaking and highly water repellent, hats can be re-oiled with Driza-Bone Garment Dressing when necessary to maximise use and maintain water resilience. It is a good match for the hard-wearing coats and will stand up to as much tough work. The Driza-Bone Slouch hat can also be folded and crushed for storage whilst travelling.
